Hi There! I'm Michelle, the Editor Behind Your Novel Experience.
My goal is to help you perfect your manuscript in preparation for publication—whatever form of publication that may be. My editorial recommendations are geared towards helping you to better connect with
your audience while staying true to your story, goals, and unique writing voice. Everyone has a story to tell, and all voices are welcome here.
As for experience, I hold my Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Publishing. I started in the traditional arena of publishers and literary magazines, but found my passion working with authors directly. I have been professionally editing books for the past 11 years, and have assisted in the publication of over 100 books to date. I had the great pleasure of being Director of Operations for Cascadia Author Services, where we assisted authors with the art and business of self-publication.
When I'm not savouring the written word, I can be found curled up with a mug of tea or out on a Dragon Boat enjoying the coast of my island home just outside of Vancouver, BC.
